My aim as a leader is to inspire, educate, and empower my teams with unique cross functional and collaborative spirits, always committed to creating high impact in markets. Heading a Marketing organization in Canada for six years and experiencing a North American role managing US Campaigns for HP Inc., have been the most amazing experience for me as a marketer, shaping my passion in branding, strategic thinking, and design.

 

I endeavor this same approach into my other personal interests, having taught Marketing Fundamentals at Humber College to first year students of the Business Faculty, and actively volunteering as a member of the Advisory Board for ACCES Sales & Marketing and TRIEC Toronto Region Immigrant Employment Council, I am privileged with the opportunity of helping marketing and sales professional newcomers in their integration process in the workforce and their new lives in Canada. 

 

My unique creative perspective and appetite for pushing boundaries as a marketer, were recognized by Strategy Magazine’s awarding me with the Marketer of the Year for the work to raise awareness on Security with “Rivolta - in the Head of a Hacker”. This campaign created by Edelman Canada was granted at Cannes Lions with a Bronze Lion in Film Category, a Clio Award with a Silver Clio in Film Category, and a total of four Canadian Marketing Association Awards and CASSIES.

 

Earlier in my career I lived in Latin America, in my country of origin Venezuela I led the consumer marketing organization responsible for preeminent # 1 position of the printing and digital photography businesses for HP. Prior to that, I spent several years in the fast-paced Cosmetic industry in well-known corporations such as L'Oréal, Unilever and Nivea.

 

I am a father of three boys; Pablo, Jose and Antonio, and married to my wife Camila. We all are very fortunate having made Canada our home since 2008. I am passionate about travelling, different cultures, art, practicing yoga and lane swimming.
