Award Winning Documentary - Rivolta

Business Printing is the least of a priority for any CISOs and IT managers in enterprise and mid-size corporations. HP wanted to position our commercial printers as the “Most Secure Printer in the World”. In Canada, we decided to tell the story of MafiaBoy, a French Canadian who +25 years ago committed the largest cybersecurity attack in the US, with millions of dollars lost: President Bill Clinton on national television placed Security forces behind this – they found a 15-year-old in Montreal as the Hacker responsible. The documentary “Rivolta in the Head of a Hacker” was awarded Cannes Lions: Bronze Lion, Clio Award: Silver Clio in Film Category, 4 Canadian Marketing Association Awards and CASSIES: Gold in Brand Content. The campaign was recognized by Strategy Magazine’s awarding me as Marketer of the Year for the work to raise awareness on IT Security. Released Rivolta’s 360 Playbook, extending Canada’s best practice to other countries like US, UK, Netherlands, and Latin-America. Michael Calce became HP’s Security Ambassador and part of HP’s Corporate Security Advisory Board, participating in over 100 events and roadshows. Partners in Canada and US recognized our thought leadership in Print security which was extended to our personal systems group. Pipeline grew by 5X for Canada.
